Ok, I was all over the plum cake, but then I got to the snickerdoodle cake and, oh my goodness. Snickerdoodles are my favorite cookie, and the thought of a snickerdoodle cake…there are no words…

Snickerdoodles are so good! The simplicity of vanilla and cinnamon- what else could you need?

Wanna send a piece of that snickerdoodle cake my way?! What a brilliant idea!

    • Kris November 17, 2010 at 11:49 pm #

If it wouldn’t turn to mush, I totally would!

Dad is great and banana fudge are my favorites. I can practically smell them through the screen. 🙂

I love your pic of the pressed plum cake – and you already know how much I loved that cake! It’s soooooooo good! I can’t wait to try the other ones too…

    • Kris November 17, 2010 at 11:48 pm #

Josiane- simple as it is, it’s one of my top 5 recipes from the book. The plums are so intoxicating.

    Wow, they all look amazing!

    • Kris November 17, 2010 at 11:48 pm #

Is the Dad is great cake by any chance a Cosby reference? If so, LOVE IT. If not- yay for your dad!

    • Kris November 17, 2010 at 11:47 pm #

Ha, the only thing my dad made was ramen. It is indeed a Cosby reference- I love that skit! I sing that song all the time when I make any sort of chocolate cake. “Dad is great, he gives us chocolate cake!”

Ah, Courtney, if you knew how much time (and deception) goes into making these photos look like this, you’d be happy that yours didn’t!
